Been busy, busy busy!

Just a quick update for ya'...had a great 3 day weekend and I got a cleaning bug up my you-know-what and I tore both bedrooms apart, cleaned like a demon and then put them back together. My body wants to slit my throat from such activity and I'm back to using my walker like an old lady! I tried to pace myself and thought I was doing good but the fibro has reared it's ugly head and is kicking my ass, but good! The cats don't particularly like me much either as they hate change worse than my old man...lol. I think they finally got comfortable with the changes last night and weren't pacing so much!

The weather has been beautiful the past few days and I've been spending a lot of time outdoors just putzing and enjoying the sunshine...even got to keep the windows open at night without it getting too cold...that's a milestone for sure around these parts:)

I'm still working on my latest kit although it's been difficult learning PSE as the pain is so distracting, it's hard to keep my thoughts flowing but I'm determined to master this sucker so I'll just keep plugging away at it.

My sis will be leaving AZ today or tomorrow and finally coming home after being gone for 7 months...I can hardly wait for her to get here! We've missed each other terribly although we keep in contact via phone and web, it's just not the same as having her here!

Hope you've all been staying well and enjoying your lives. I'll try to get a preview of the papers for my new kit up soon and in the meanwhile, hope you have a wonder weekend:)
Big hugs to all!

WooHoo...back online:)

Oh my, it's good to be back! The reformat went off without a hitch and I even tried a few new registry hacks that proved to be magic. And my slipstreamed disk worked so well, I only had 3 updates waiting for me on the MS website...yippy skippy!
I have all of my essential utility and security progs installed and I'm ready for a long day of installing the good stuff...PSP and PSE and such. The Beast is very happy 'cause she's lean and mean again...lol.

My goodness...the freebies out there for the past few days have been wonderful, haven't they? So many talented people out there designing goodies for our scrappin' pleasure! What's a gal gonna' do except keep downloading:)

Hope you all are well and I'd better get back to work...got a ton of emails to go thru yet and I just can't stand to be graphic-programless one more minute.
Big hugs to all! Talk to ya' later.

From TamsenAren't they all just fabulous!! I'm tickled pink to see these and each of these gals have received the 2 extra alphas plus the lower case alpha. Unfortunately there were only 16 entrants so I won't be posting the links for all. Maybe next time:)
Please leave some love here on the blog for the work these gals did and I'm sure they brought some inspiration to the table for your own LO's.
The MODness is finally done, I have another really romantic kit in the works and the papers are almost finished. I'm afraid that it's turning out to be another huge kit...I just don't know when to stop...lol.
I'm going to be blogless for at least 1 week, maybe 2 to get some long overdue maintenance done on my Beast and a complete reformat. Lots of backing up to do and burning to DVD plus downloading all the latest updates from MS so I can slipstream a new OS disc. I also have a few tuts lined up to figure out ACDSee Photo Manager and get my poop in a group to organize all the scrap kits I have plus I have promised myself that the embellishments to my new kit are going to be made in PS Elements 5...no matter what! I'm excited but nervous about that...learning new things used to be a breeze! I'd love to have back some of the billions of brain cells I killed off in my wicked 20's...roflol. To add to the list, I really want and need to re-organize my blog by putting each freebie kit together on 1 page so ya' don't have to click all over the place to get the whole thing. Guess I'd better make a list, heh?
So I hope you enjoy the showcase today and that everyone has a great weekend! The weather is supposed to be very nice here with lots of sunshine...I'm diggin' that!
Big hugs to all and a big thanks to all those that leave such nice comments here and on 4shared. It's so nice to know that you like and appreciate my work.

6 to go!

Looks like only a few people in the entire world are gonna' get these extra alphas! I only need 6 more people to show me their stuff:)

And 'cause I got nothin' else to blab about today, here's one of my all-time favorite jokes. Don't know where I got it from but I'm pretty sure it was in an email...as are most of them! This one is for women only!

Medicines Just For Women
Damitol: Take 2 and the rest of the world can go to hell for up to 8 hours.
St. Mom's Wort: Plant extract that treats mom's depression by rendering preschoolers unconscious for up to six hours.
Empty Nestrogen: Highly effective suppository that eliminates melancholy by enhancing the memory of how awful they were as teenagers and how you couldn't wait till they moved out.
Peptobimbo: Liquid silicone for single women. Two full cups swallowed before an evening out increases breast size, decreases intelligence, and improves flirting.
Dumerol: When taken with Peptobimbo, can cause dangerously low I.Q. causing enjoyment of rap and c/w music.
Flipitor: Increases life expectancy of commuters by controlling road rage and the urge to flip off other drivers.
Antiboyotics: When administered to teenage girls, is highly effective in improving grades, freeing up phone lines, and reducing money spent on make-up.
Menicillin: Potent antiboyotic for older women. Increases resistance to such lines as,"You make me want to be a better person... can we get naked now?"
Buyagra: Injectable stimulant taken prior to shopping. Increases potency and duration of spending spree.
Extra Strength Buy-One-all: When combined with Buyagra, can cause an indiscriminate buying frenzy so severe the victim may even come home with a Donny Osmond CD or a book byDr. Laura.
JackAsspirin: Relieves headache caused by a man who can't remember your birthday, anniversary, or phone number.
Antitalksident: A spray carried in a purse or wallet to be used on anyone too eager to share their life stories with total strangers.
Sexcedrin: More effective than Excedrin in treating the, "Not now, dear, I have a headache," syndrome.
Ragamat: When administered to a husband, provides the same irritation as ragging on him all weekend, saving the wife the time and trouble of doing it herself.

Now ya' gotta' love that...roflol
Big hugs all around and see ya' in the a.m. for the wonderful show and tell:)

12 down...8 to go!

Gettin' closer:) And I even have some submissions by people that haven't ever scrapped before and I'm loving it. I want to have all the submissions in by Friday morning so set your scrappinbutts down and get creative!

Scrapcat4914...would you email me please...got a surprise for ya'!

Got a new kit in the works and it's a doozy...dark, romantic papers...ooohhhh, I'm having fun:)

And it's time to reformat the Beast...she's getting squirly and I have way to much crap on here that I don't use anymore. I do this annually but this time I'm not looking forward to slipstreaming a new disk...waaaay too many updates but it's worth it in the end. I'll have a new machine that purrs like a kitten.

Dh and his brother went fishing yesterday...I think it was the opening season for walleye and dh finally caught some fish...they were both moaning because there wasn't a tournament going on 'cause these puppies were huge! Here's the proof:

And here's another funny for you...it cracked me up!
The Loving Husband
Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands free speaker-function and begins to talk.
MAN: "Hello"
WOMAN: "Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?"
MAN: "Yes"
WOMAN: "I am at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?"
MAN: "Sure, ...go ahead if you like it that much."
WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2003 models. I saw one I really liked."
MAN: "How much?"
WOMAN: "$60,000"
MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options."
WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing....the house we wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000."
MAN: "Well, then go ahead and give them an offer, but just offer $900,000."
WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you!"
MAN: "Bye, I love you, too."
The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are looking at him in astonishment.
Then he asks: "Anyone know who this phone belongs to?"
Have a good Wednesday all:)

8 down...12 to go!

Oh my, I'm receiving some gorgeous LO's with my MOD Kit and am just tickled pink! I'll be showcasing them all later this week and I know you'll enjoy viewing them:)
Is anyone a tag maker? Make a tag using the MOD kit and send it along...that will count too, ya' know! How about a desktop wallpaper...come on peeps...I'm trying to make this as easy as possible on you...lol

And now I'm going to share the funniest thing I've read in a long time, compliments of my brother Dean. He has the most adorable little dog named Bailey and I have 2 cats named Lucky and Bonehead so you'll see why I thought this was hilarious:)

DOG DIARY
8:00 am - Dog food! My favorite thing!
9:30 am - A car ride! My favorite thing!
9:40 am - A walk in the park! My favorite thing!
10:30 am - Got rubbed and petted! My favorite thing!
12:00 pm - Lunch! My favorite thing!
1:00 pm - Played in the yard! My favorite thing!
3:00 pm - Wagged my tail! My favorite thing!
5:00 pm - Milk bones! My favorite thing!
7:00 pm - Got to play ball! My favorite thing!
8:00 pm - Wow! Watched TV with my people! My favorite thing!
11:00 pm - Sleeping on the bed! My favorite thing!

CAT DIARY
Day 983 of my captivity.
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and Iare fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.
In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.
Bastards!
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released -and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move.My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe for now...

Have a great day everyone and big hugs to ya'!

MOD Monday

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please disregard all of the individual links in the posts below regarding the MOD Kit. I've switched from 4Shared to MediaFire and all MOD downloads are now available here.

A new week to start a new attitude:) About what I don't know yet but I'm going to find something positive in each and every day this week!

Now you all can help me start my week off even better by showing me some layouts using the MOD kit! I don't get hardly any links to galleries where people have used a kit of mine...only 3 links so far...boo hoo:(. So, in order to get the last 2 alphas in peach and green, I'm requesting that only 20 of you send me a link or an email to a layout using this kit. Most items have or are near to reaching the 500 download mark so I don't think asking for 20 layouts is off the mark.

You can send them to the email addy in the left column here. You don't have to post them in a gallery...you can simply send them to me via email (.jpg format only please)...or if you've posted them to a gallery, just email me the link to where they are posted. When I recieve 20, I'll post the links to download the 2 new alphas and everyone wins.

I know you want them...aren't they just gorgeous!

I'll be checking my inbox every 3 minutes ladies and gents! I'm dying to see what you create:)
Have a wonderful week...and big hugs to all!
WHOA...big oops...I forgot to tell you that those that DO submit a LO will receive the lower case alpha to match:) My bad!

This MOD Alpha

Hey...who brought up this alpha crap to begin with????? I'd like to kick someone in the 'you-know-where' but I think I may end up kicking myself...roflol
Here's the links for the first two...sorry...just the upper case, numbers and some punctuation. Can everyone say "resize"! (lol) I'd shoot myself if I had to do the lower case today!
Get them here: Blue and/or Purple.

You'll have the orange and green tomorrow...I need some chocolate right now plus a great action/adventure movie to get lost in:)
See ya' tomorrow everyone...big hugs all around!

Happy Mothers Day

Hope you all either had or are having a wonderful Mothers Day:) And as Lizzerd pointed out, I want to raise a glass to all of us that have lost our Mothers. I lost mine when I was 18 months old but have good memories from all the stories told by dear family members:) Damn, I wish I had a mimosa right now but cappuccino will have to do! Here's to you Mom!

Now on to this stinking Alpha! I have a preview for you but they aren't finished yet. OMG, what tedious work. I can't script any of it...believe me I tried...lol. So each beautiful, hand crafted letter, number, and punctuation of these alphas are made by me, toiling over my Beast, eyes rolling back into my head from sheer boredom, fingernails worn down to a nub and letters disappearing from my keyboard:(. I have a faint memory of a dream last night where a gang of ampersands and capital d's were chasing me...I was about to reach safety and tripped over a lower case x. I woke up screaming...roflmaopimp!

Here's the preview and it is ONLY in these 4 colors. I suppose if someone begged me for one of the other available colors, I could oblige but it probably wouldn't get finished and delivered until sometime early 2009. I know you'll be able to use these with all kinds of other kits because I kept it simple. Frankly, I don't give a rats ass...I just want them finished...lol

I promise I'll be back later today with at least 1 set completed:) I sure hope someone likes them 'cause they are a serious pia but I love matching alphas and I love this one!
Big hugs to all!

This MODness must end!

Holy crap, am I running late today! 50 things to do and now dh wants us to go out for dinner so I'm ecstatic about that! No fish caught yesterday but I'll still be having a fish fry today...it's making me hungry already:).

The shares for today pretty much end this...yes, I'm gonna' say it...MEGAKit (lol)! Yippy skippy! I haven't finished the alpha yet but you can be sure one is coming shortly. I've done several versions and dumped them all but I think I have a winner going now.

Here's the previews for today:

RicRac in small and large sizes are here and the rest of the ribbons are here.

My first ever hand-made flowers and the fibers are here.
Hmmm...Flowers & Fibers...sounds like a bad breakfast cereal, doesn't it...roflol. Actually the fibers are more like yarn but they work for me:). I'll be back with the finale to this MEGAKit sometime before the weekend is done. But be warned...there is a challenge involved and the reward is the alphas...yes, I said alpha(s). I know you're all tingling with excitement...lol.
To those of you that are mothers already and to those that are awaiting their little bundle of absolute joy I bid you all a wonderful Mother's Day. And let's not forget our dear friends and family that have lost a child...reach out to them this Mother's Day with an extra special warm comforting hug or sentiment, reminding them you have not forgotten their child nor their wonderful mothering ways. You'll be so glad you did:)
Big hugs to all...Mollie

It's A MOD, MOD World

I'm so excited I could pee:). Finally got a bow that I'm satisfied with. It's nothing fancy but it's plenty cute...lol. Got a lot to share today 'cause I want to get this kit completed for you before the weekend. Today I'm sharing some Bows 'n Tags cuteness, some unique filetabs, and buckle ribbons...at least I think that's what they're called.

My BIL just drove in to pick dh up and go perch fishing...I hope they get lots of perch...I'm hankering for a fish fry tomorrow night:).

So here's the previews and remember that drop shadows and any text are just for preview purposes...they are not on the originals:).

Bows 'n Tags are here.

Filetabs are here.

Buckles and buckle ribbons are here.
I hope you enjoy todays goodies and make sure to come back tomorrow for my first set of flowers ever, and more ribbons and 2 sizes of ricrac. Does this constitute a mega kit yet???
Big hugs...Mollie

Missing some MODness

Rats! In the last paperpack (posted today) I put in 2 greens and not the yellow. Many thanks to Lizzerd for alerting me to this problem and you can get the yellow version for paperpack 6 here.

Sorry 'bout that folks but it just shows you it pays to open what you download as soon as you can. I lost a few nice freebies in the past 'cause I didn't check the contents soon enough and actually had corrupt zip files...damn my bad luck! Of course the gorgeous freebies were long gone and couldn't be replaced. Imagine if that happens when you've bought a kit...yikes!

I'm off to get some of my favorite ice cream...Blue Bunny 'Bunny Tracks'...and settle down to watch Criminal Minds. Man, that show ROCKS!
Have a good nite/day all.
Big hugs to ya' and see ya' in the a.m.

The Modness continues

I can't believe it's Wednesday already! Where does the week go?

I have the last of the papers for this set today but there's still lots more to go. I think it's going to turn into a mega kit...lol. But I know that's OK with all of you:) Got some buttons & brads today also and this a.m. I finished up some tags and am now working on some kick ass tabs in cool new shapes for you. So you'll just have to keep coming back all week to check out the goodies:)

Here's the previews for today:

The papers are here and buttons and brads are here & here. I had to break them up or they'd be too big for my friends on dialup:) Have a great 'hump' day wherever you are:)

MOD, MOD, MOD

Are you getting sick of it yet...lol. Today sees paperpack 5 and 2 sets of photocorners. Coming tomorrow are brads and buttons and the last paperpack for this set so make sure you come back and check them out:).

It's a beautiful day in Mollieland...birds are chirping their beautiful melody, sun is shining and windows are open. It's a treat for the eyes to finally see green in the canopy of trees in our little forest out back. School is still in session so I hear no 4 wheelers, motorbike racing or golf carts on our dead-end road. Yes, all is right with my personal world. I even have dinner planned...Cobb Salad with the chicken cooked on the grill...YUM! With that said, I'm waiting for dh to come in the house around 2 p.m. and start complaining about how hot it is and to want to close up the house and turn the air on. I'll be guarding the thermostat with a shotgun...lol. The man is an air-conditioning FREAK! I constantly have a sweater or hoodie on during July and August and it's hilarious to see when the grands come over...they are all huddled under blankets, poor things.

OK, shutting up now and going for the previews:

The papers are here and set 1 of the photocorners are here. Enjoy these new additions to the MOD Kit and as always, I've so enjoyed reading your comments. It's so nice to hear that someone besides myself is enjoying these creations and inspires me to keep going:).

PLEASE...

stop what you're doing and go over to Deb's blog and leave her some much needed love.
Here's her link: http://www.debfdigiscraps.com/mutterings/
And don't come back here until you do!
Thanks everyone.

More MOD stuff

Got paperpack 4 and some bent ribbons and satin ribbons for you today. These are my first bent ribbons and once they were finished I thought that maybe I shouldn't have put the brad on them. Then I said to myself..."tough shit, I ain't redoing them"! So that's my story on the bent ribbons but I know that you all have a delete button...roflol. And the satin ribbons have the little loopy thingies on them and that was fun to do.
And these are the papers where I wondered what in the hell did I do that for? But I'm stickin' with 'em 'cause I think they are pretty and are a nice darker accent to the more pastel colors.
So without further ado, here are the previews:)

The papers can be found here and the ribbons here.
Have a great Monday (it's cold and cloudy here) and I'll see you tomorrow with at least another paperpack. Big hugs to all and thanks so very much for all the kind comments you are leaving. You folks are the best:).

Tried to post this earlier but Blogger was being tempermental:( Got a new paper pack for you today and it's my personal fav of this kit. Tomorrow you'll get another paper pack and some buttons and brads so make sure you come back for more.

Todays' preview:

Get these papers here. See ya' tomorrow and big hugs to all:) Mollie

More MOD madness

Got some more papers for you today and the photoprongs that go with this kit. I think they're just yummy! Shiny and sparkly...ooooohhhhhh:). And I L O V E this set of papers...painterly and beautifully textured...you'll want to touch them:)
Paper preview:

Photoprongs preview: Get the papers here and the photoprongs here.
Thanks for all your kind comments here and at 4shared...I had quite a few good laughs:).
Seems like the name was a winner! Stay tuned all this coming week as I have 4 more paper packs to share along with some photocorners, buttons, ribbons, brads, tags and I even made some flowers for you...all by hand:) And I'm going to make a nice bow if it kills me...rofl. I can feel my blood pressure rise with each try but I'm getting real close. And I'm such an alpha freak that I have to make one for this kit and I hope to work on that tonite as Saturday nite TV sucks so badly! But I gotta' get to the grocery store right this minute...the cupboards are almost bare and there's a meat sale going on that ends today. Be still my heart...boneless pork ribs for only $.99 a pound! I can almost smell the BBQ now:)
Have a wonderful weekend and don't let your debit/credit cards melt down from all the NSB Day deals:)
Big hugs to all!

It's been a while

Gosh it's been quite a while since I've blogged. I've had unbelieveably high pain levels for the past few weeks and have just been working through the pain to get to a better place. When I have a flare like this I will literally resort to any actions to ease it. If you were a fly on my wall, you'd pee from laughing:). Vicodin and percodet are my friends but I wait to take them until I can't stand the pain one more second...and then I'm off to sleep. And sleep and sleep. I wish I could be awake and productive when I take them but I guess it's not meant to be. I am a delicate little thing, I guess...NOT! But the pain is easing a bit more each day and I'm definitely feeling more like myself today:)

I haven't been idle on the puter though and do have the makings of a great kit for you. Each item is pretty ass kickin' if I do say so myself but man, it is disjointed. It doesn't flow cohesively as a kit and that's why I'm calling it the MOD kit. MOD stands for Mollie On Drugs...roflol. As I looked at the kit as a whole last night (for the first time), a few times I asked myself 'why in the hell did you do that?". But it's still gorgeous and I hope you all like it too:)
I'm not going to post a preview of the entire kit as it's not finished yet but you'll get a preview of each part as I post it. I'm not sure I'll be posting every day as the past 3 weeks have put me behind on the household front but I'll try my best.
So here's the first set of papers and you'll love the texture of them.

You can get them here.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and I know you'll all be busy, busy, busy with National Scrapbooking Day almost upon us. Man, so many freebies and so many sites to visit...I still can't decide where I'll start! Big hugs to you all:).
