CT Call

I'm so excited I could pee...again...rofl! I'm not sure if I can tell you the name of the store yet as it doesn't open until August 1st so I guess mums the word for now.
And now the begging begins....please, please, please, don't be shy about applying! And if you don't have any experience with this sort of thing...not to worry...neither do I but I can tell ya' we'll sure as hell have fun on this journey! And please send all your friends here so they can apply too. My biggest fear is that no one will apply and then I'll get all depressed and be crying and making my life miserable...and I know you wouldn't want that for me now would you...lol.

And don't think for 1 minute that the freebies are gonna' come to an end...never happen! They are just too much fun to give away!

I have no time to tell you all about the wedding...haven't even taken the pics off the camera yet...but it'll be coming...pics and all! I have several kits in the works right now and no time for anything else as I'm on such a tight time frame before the store opens but one of the kits is for sure a really nice freebie so make sure to watch for it soon.

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be waiting for those CT Call emails to start rolling in:)
Big hugs to all of you:)

Showing off today.

(WARNING...long freaking post) I just have to show you the 3 items I've made as a member of the Elements Team over at Digital Candy. These were the first 3 kits that I designed for the 12x12 scrapper and I'm mighty proud of them:)
And the best part is that you can get them for free simply by completing one of their fun challenges...how cool is that! They haven't finalized the prizes to challenge list just yet but I'll be getting that info and will let you know which kit is going with what challenge in the near future. But for now, I just want to show off my stuff...lol

Here's my tribute to our Canadian friends...I just love this kit:

Here's my minikit called Green Grass of Summer...such soft pretty colors:

And here's my favorite of all of the 3 we've done so far...my tribute to the USA:
Aren't they all just luscious...lol! I'm very proud of them and I want you to get your scrappinbutts over to DC and check out their challenges. The other girls on the Elements Team have made some gorgeous kits also (all in the same 3 schemes) and I just know you'll want to get every single one of them.

And ya' looking for a freebie candy grab bag? Get over to DC and sign up for their first ever newsletter called "The Candy Dish" and get a great grab bag free when the issue comes out. Go here to sign up NOW!
Well, I'm done bragging now and on to other news. Thanks for letting me share these previews with you and I'm working on a blog freebie for you all right now:)

I'm going to be gone for the next week to my nieces wedding in Indiana. My older sis (Deb) and I are leaving here at noon on Tuesday and driving to our younger sisters (Monica) house in Elkart Lake, WI. Then early, early Wednesday a.m. we'll be leaving for Indianapolis, hoping to miss the gridlocks in Chicago and Indy. I wanted to get up at 5 and be on the road by 6 but all I heard was screaming on both ends of the phone line...roflmao! Couple of sissy's if you ask me so I guess we'll be leaving at 7 and won't get to our destination til 2 or 3! And I wanted to be there by noon 'cause we got a lot of shopping to do on Wednesday. Gotta' go buy all the food for the reception! My sis Deb and I offered to cater the event and we are also making the wedding cake. It's in my freezer now as I baked the last layer yesterday!

Today we're making a very specialized wedding cake topper...2 Indy Colts horseshoes intertwined with the 7 nail holes on one side and their names on the other side. Let me tell ya' that you'll be getting pictures of this puppy...I have a beautiful vision in my mind and Deb and I are going to execute it flawlessly even if we come to blows over it...lol

And what is Monica going to be doing, you ask? Can you say S L A V E...lol! She'll be our gofer til Friday the 13th...the official wedding day! Then she's going to gather all her lists and the lists that she's made lists from and become the official Wedding Coordinator, although she prefers the term Wedding Helper Extraordinaire...lol She's so modest:) She's the one that's going to keep everything flowing smoothly, moving forward and making sure there is nothing missed in all the pomp and ceremony...all the while looking and acting flawlessly. This girl could make you want to run right out and buy a gunny sack that's been through a fire once she puts it on and adjusts and accessorizes it! Just beautiful and oh, so diplomatic.

When I called her yesterday and asked her if she'd take on that responsibility I laughed til I almost peed. This is me: Hey you shitbums...put your damned beers down and get your f'ing asses over to the cake table...it's time to cut the damned cake! This is Monica: in a soft yet firm voice...Ivory and Randy, in about 3 minutes we'll be starting the cake cutting ceremony so if you wouldn't mind, I'll meet you at the cake table then...insert very sweet smile and nodding of head! ROFLMAOPIMP! See why we need her so badly...lol

The main reasons we took this all on is so our youngest sister Kim, can just be the mother of the bride for the day. Kim is one go-getter, never stopping for a minute, always on top of everything and doesn't know the meaning of the word 'relax'. And she simply can't stop working. I told her if I even see her lift a bowl or platter she's in for one serious ass whoopin' from her 3 older sisters! We want this to be her day too, with no worries about one single thing except seeing her first born being married and enjoying the experiences of the day. And by us catering the event, we're helping her and Ivory and Randy save thousands of dollars too! Both Deb and I have been in the restaurant business forever and can literally cook for 200 in 1 day so we can pound this out in no time. And I'm pretty much fearless until I get in a kitchen with Deb. We're both half French_Canadian and we can't talk without using our hands and she can wield a knife like a samurai so I'll have to make sure I don't piss her off...lol

Well, in the time it took me to post all this bla, bla, bla, I could have baked the Grooms Cake and I'm sure you're all bored to tears by now. I'm just so excited about this wedding I can't hardly wait to leave.
Bye for now and I'll chat with you again next week:) Big hugs to all!

12x12 comin' at ya'!

WooooHoooo! An entire kit designed just like the big girls do...rofl. But we'll get to that in a minute.

First, I want to say a belated "Happy Canada Day" to all my Canadian friends and hope you had lots of festivities and good food and drink! From what little I've heard around the net, you folks can really throw a party:) Wish I could have been there.

I'm so excited about my new freebie being 12x12 and all and I hope you all like that size.
It's kind of a mini-kit...for me at least...and it's all in 1 zip file! Ain't ya' just loving that...rofl
It's called "I Got The Blues". How's that for a clue...lol. I'm gonna' try to make a QP from it...yeah, I know, you've heard that before...but I finally have some extra time and really need to learn how to do that!
The kit has 3 papers, 1 torn/folded border paper, a bunch of ribbons and bows, several frames and a flower that's so luscious I could eat it:)
So you can get it here and hope you have fun with it. Special THANKS goes out to Atomic Cupcake for her actions and Monica Larsen for her bows and ribbons actions. Their info is in the TOU, which I'm sure you all read like you're supposed to...lol!
Can someone let me know how the proportions of the elements are please? All the ribbons are 12 inches long but I'm not too sure about the 4 frames...if you think they're big enough or just too small. I would appreciate that input from someone who is used to scrapping at this size.
Sending big hugs to all....Mollie

Fun Flowers Elements

First I want to say thanks for all the wonderful comments about this kit...I was so touched by your kindnesses! Aren't scrappers just the best sort of people:)

Now here's the link for the elements. And the alpha is simply A to Z but wait til you start colorizing it...wowza! I think you'll have a blast!

Now I forgot something vital yesterday and have been kicking myself all over the place for the omission. I forgot to credit Terry Maruca's Photoshop Photo Corner Actions @ SBB for the 2 curled papers but it is included in the TOU with the papers. And with the elements for today I must acknowledge Atomic Cupcake for the use of her actions for the alpha and embroidered flowers. There...I think I did that right:)
I've never used someone else's stuff to create with before but if you read the TOU included with the papers, you'll see I've credited both of them and provided links.

Have fun with the elements and I may be back with a QP if I can fit in the time. Oh...and all my stuff from now on will be for 12x12 scrapping. I've found that since my reformat I can actually create a paper in that size so I'm jazzed about that.

Have a fantastic day everyone...I really love you guys:)

New Freebie & good news

Waving a big 'HELLO' to Ellie and Scrapcat! Love you gals:)

"Where in the hell have I been?", you ask. Busy with life and the goodness of summer! With a lot of pain management thrown in...lol
Got 1/2 of a large flower bed under control and planted a new lilac bush. We have this huge rose bush out front...I don't remember the name of it but it's like a wild one that keeps spreading every year and this was the year to get inside it and do some serious weeding and pruning. I would have been just horrified if anyone had seen me...what a comedy it was! I started out doing it myself but damn, it hurt. So asked hubby for some welding gloves and he did one better...gave me a welding jacket and leather gloves. I did the outer perimeter and then had to reach far in to get at the middle but needed someone to hold some of the branches up. Hubby to the rescue again! At one point I was so far in all he could see was my fat ass...roflmao. I needed to get out of there and get some face protection on...I left some serious chunks of hair behind too:) Where's my goggles...haven't used them in years and don't have a clue. I grab one of the grandkids helmets and headed back for more torture. Thank goodness it had a face shield on but OMG was I hot...and not in a good sexy way! I crawl back in and get the dirty deed done and promised myself that the next time this needs doing, I'll be paying any amount to anyone brave enough to do it...lol
But she's the most beautiful rose bush...luscious, delicate, light pink blossoms that open flat and facing up with a scent from heaven and blooms continuously from June thru September. Hard work has it's rewards and I think she's very happy with her new 'do'!

And then the pain sets in! I've been having a problem with my neck and shoulders since March but didn't go to the doc 'cause I just figured that's where the damned fibro had settled for a while. It would move elsewhere eventually. Well, it didn't so I end up going to the doc and my shoulders are so tight she said it's no wonder I couldn't turn my head much. And when I did, I could hear all this snapping and cracking...yuck! And sleeping at night was all weird...did you ever have a night where you thought you were asleep but you were aware of everything around you and you wake up exhausted? Yeah...that was me for a couple of weeks:( So she puts me on a valium regimen where I take one mid-day and one at bedtime so my muscles can relax. Holy Naptime Batman! The house could have exploded around me and not only would I have not awoken, I wouldn't have cared...rofl. That stuff is wonderful...I'm sleeping like a dead woman and I can now turn my head anywhere I want with no noise...what a treat. The only downside is the time I've lost (4/5 hours midday)...I'm so behind I'm not 56 anymore, I'm 54 1/2...lol!

As an example, on Fathers Day I was tagged by Fishinmom and must apologize to Kimberly for this delay but I did so enjoy reading her tagged section...it's nice to know more about her. And seeing as this is a monster post already, here I go: 7 things about me that nobody gives a rat's ass about!
1. I've been married 3 times and the 3rd one was the charm. We've been together for 27 years.
2. I have 1 child, a daughter that is just beautiful, charming, and one smart cookie!
3. I danced topless on a bartop in a contest once...back when my boobs were lookin' right at ya'!
4. I have a very, very low tolerance for racial and religious bullshit. We are all of the human race and our beliefs are what they are.
5. I adore my siblings beyond measure...they are truly wonderful, caring people.
6. I am a freak for M&M memorabilia. I even have a box of plain and peanut from the White House during the Clinton Administration:)
7. I hate having my picture taken...hate it, hate it, hate it!
I'm supposed to tag 4 more blogs but that will have to wait for now.

Good news is I'm now on the Element Team at the most wonderful place...Digital Candy. A bunch of supernice gals I get to play with and the Element Team designs kits for the many fun challenges they offer. Owner Heidi is the sweetest gal, very easy going and I've been having a blast. They have great challenges too...a Celebrity Challenge, a Numbers challenge that is so different and cool, you gotta' check it out, a Sketch/Template challenge, just to name a few. You'll feel so at home there and have a bunch of fun! And don't forget to check out the store...what a list of designers they have and some gorgeous stuff!

More good news...molliemojo found her way home! I was so glad to see her but she's a bit shaky...in a hangover kind of way...roflol. And to celebrate her homecoming I can finally release a new kit called Fun Flowers. Yeah, I had to name it before she came home:(
Here's the previews:

Grab the papers/borders...I had to divide them into 2 zips so make sure you get them both here: Papers 1 and Papers 2. You'll have to wait for the elements until tomorrow.

Gosh, it was great blogging again...didn't realize how much I missed it. Hope you've all been well and having a fantastic summer so far:) See ya' tomorrow!

Oops...almost forgot to tell ya'...I have disabled comments at 4 shared for all downloads except the first one. For example, this post has 2 downloads of the same thing...papers. Comments are only allowed for the first set of papers. IMHO, it's annoying and ridiculous to have to say thanks for each separate download of the same set of items. This will make the shitbums that never say thanks very happy. I have a thought of password protecting all my downloads with the password being the same for everything...Thank You...roflmaopimp. Wouldn't that just piss them off! I know...I have an evil streak, don't I...lol.

Have you seen her?

My mojo, that is! I think she got sucked up into the vacuum on my cleaning spree and man, I miss her so. If you see MollieMojo in your travels, send her home asap...lol. Got a major dry spell going here and just can't get into the groove. And it's been raining for 2 freaking days so that doesn't help with the creativity at all:( I've read many blogs lately where the designers have been in a funk so maybe it's catching!

I found a new scrap freebie blog and thought I'd pass it on to you although many of you may already know about it. It's definitely worth a visit 'cause she does previews...which rocks in my world:) Tell Silvia Mollie sent you...go here: http://phillsboo.blogspot.com/ and please thank her for all the work she does. I don't think I'd be doing that job unless it paid BIG money...rofl

Have a great week my precious blog readers. Hope to have something for you soon!

Been busy, busy busy!

Just a quick update for ya'...had a great 3 day weekend and I got a cleaning bug up my you-know-what and I tore both bedrooms apart, cleaned like a demon and then put them back together. My body wants to slit my throat from such activity and I'm back to using my walker like an old lady! I tried to pace myself and thought I was doing good but the fibro has reared it's ugly head and is kicking my ass, but good! The cats don't particularly like me much either as they hate change worse than my old man...lol. I think they finally got comfortable with the changes last night and weren't pacing so much!

The weather has been beautiful the past few days and I've been spending a lot of time outdoors just putzing and enjoying the sunshine...even got to keep the windows open at night without it getting too cold...that's a milestone for sure around these parts:)

I'm still working on my latest kit although it's been difficult learning PSE as the pain is so distracting, it's hard to keep my thoughts flowing but I'm determined to master this sucker so I'll just keep plugging away at it.

My sis will be leaving AZ today or tomorrow and finally coming home after being gone for 7 months...I can hardly wait for her to get here! We've missed each other terribly although we keep in contact via phone and web, it's just not the same as having her here!

Hope you've all been staying well and enjoying your lives. I'll try to get a preview of the papers for my new kit up soon and in the meanwhile, hope you have a wonder weekend:)
Big hugs to all!

WooHoo...back online:)

Oh my, it's good to be back! The reformat went off without a hitch and I even tried a few new registry hacks that proved to be magic. And my slipstreamed disk worked so well, I only had 3 updates waiting for me on the MS website...yippy skippy!
I have all of my essential utility and security progs installed and I'm ready for a long day of installing the good stuff...PSP and PSE and such. The Beast is very happy 'cause she's lean and mean again...lol.

My goodness...the freebies out there for the past few days have been wonderful, haven't they? So many talented people out there designing goodies for our scrappin' pleasure! What's a gal gonna' do except keep downloading:)

Hope you all are well and I'd better get back to work...got a ton of emails to go thru yet and I just can't stand to be graphic-programless one more minute.
Big hugs to all! Talk to ya' later.

From TamsenAren't they all just fabulous!! I'm tickled pink to see these and each of these gals have received the 2 extra alphas plus the lower case alpha. Unfortunately there were only 16 entrants so I won't be posting the links for all. Maybe next time:)
Please leave some love here on the blog for the work these gals did and I'm sure they brought some inspiration to the table for your own LO's.
The MODness is finally done, I have another really romantic kit in the works and the papers are almost finished. I'm afraid that it's turning out to be another huge kit...I just don't know when to stop...lol.
I'm going to be blogless for at least 1 week, maybe 2 to get some long overdue maintenance done on my Beast and a complete reformat. Lots of backing up to do and burning to DVD plus downloading all the latest updates from MS so I can slipstream a new OS disc. I also have a few tuts lined up to figure out ACDSee Photo Manager and get my poop in a group to organize all the scrap kits I have plus I have promised myself that the embellishments to my new kit are going to be made in PS Elements 5...no matter what! I'm excited but nervous about that...learning new things used to be a breeze! I'd love to have back some of the billions of brain cells I killed off in my wicked 20's...roflol. To add to the list, I really want and need to re-organize my blog by putting each freebie kit together on 1 page so ya' don't have to click all over the place to get the whole thing. Guess I'd better make a list, heh?
So I hope you enjoy the showcase today and that everyone has a great weekend! The weather is supposed to be very nice here with lots of sunshine...I'm diggin' that!
Big hugs to all and a big thanks to all those that leave such nice comments here and on 4shared. It's so nice to know that you like and appreciate my work.

6 to go!

Looks like only a few people in the entire world are gonna' get these extra alphas! I only need 6 more people to show me their stuff:)

And 'cause I got nothin' else to blab about today, here's one of my all-time favorite jokes. Don't know where I got it from but I'm pretty sure it was in an email...as are most of them! This one is for women only!

Medicines Just For Women
Damitol: Take 2 and the rest of the world can go to hell for up to 8 hours.
St. Mom's Wort: Plant extract that treats mom's depression by rendering preschoolers unconscious for up to six hours.
Empty Nestrogen: Highly effective suppository that eliminates melancholy by enhancing the memory of how awful they were as teenagers and how you couldn't wait till they moved out.
Peptobimbo: Liquid silicone for single women. Two full cups swallowed before an evening out increases breast size, decreases intelligence, and improves flirting.
Dumerol: When taken with Peptobimbo, can cause dangerously low I.Q. causing enjoyment of rap and c/w music.
Flipitor: Increases life expectancy of commuters by controlling road rage and the urge to flip off other drivers.
Antiboyotics: When administered to teenage girls, is highly effective in improving grades, freeing up phone lines, and reducing money spent on make-up.
Menicillin: Potent antiboyotic for older women. Increases resistance to such lines as,"You make me want to be a better person... can we get naked now?"
Buyagra: Injectable stimulant taken prior to shopping. Increases potency and duration of spending spree.
Extra Strength Buy-One-all: When combined with Buyagra, can cause an indiscriminate buying frenzy so severe the victim may even come home with a Donny Osmond CD or a book byDr. Laura.
JackAsspirin: Relieves headache caused by a man who can't remember your birthday, anniversary, or phone number.
Antitalksident: A spray carried in a purse or wallet to be used on anyone too eager to share their life stories with total strangers.
Sexcedrin: More effective than Excedrin in treating the, "Not now, dear, I have a headache," syndrome.
Ragamat: When administered to a husband, provides the same irritation as ragging on him all weekend, saving the wife the time and trouble of doing it herself.

Now ya' gotta' love that...roflol
Big hugs all around and see ya' in the a.m. for the wonderful show and tell:)
