Don't miss this!

First off I want to thank everyone that has left comments here and at 4shared...you guys are just a treasure! I do read them all and get the warm fuzzies:)

Secondly...(is that even a word...lol), I want to let you know that I've gotten many emails since I released my AshleyB kit asking me questions about myself and my stuff, i.e. how did I do it, can you help me, etc. So with that in mind, I've decided I'm going to add a section in my sidebar with links to help with that sort of stuff...how to figure out Blogger and specific links for creating in PSP. I hope you'll enjoy having the links there and exploring them:)

The most commented on, or question actually is...am I crazy for giving this stuff away? ROFLOL! If you've ever, in your entire life, been broke...you'll understand. I'm SO broke I can't pay attention! I haven't worked in over 18 months as I'm awaiting a disability hearing and that means we lost $20k of income...ouch! That's depressing in itself! Then my best cyberpal introduces me to digital scrapping and I was gripped with an obsession at all the gorgeous stuff that was out there. But...being broke can have an advantage! I couldn't afford to buy anything so I figured I'd try my hand at making my own and here we are today:) I know that there are plenty of people out there that are counting their pennies too and a beautiful scrap kit by a 'famous label' designer is something they simply can't splurge on. So I do my best to contribute cool freebies to the scrapping community and hopefully you all think I'm getting better with each set. So that's my freebie story and I'm sticking to it...lol.

I must say that I do have this fantastic, dreamy, drop-dead-gorgeous kit swirling around in my head and if I can ever get the danged thing translated into pixels, I am going to charge you all big time to get it...I need a new computer, damn it...roflmaopimp:)

And now, what I really want to talk about today if you can stand anymore of my ramblings! If you haven't heard of Everyday Digital Scrapbooking get yourself over there right now. And sign up for their newsletter too...I sub to the weekly one but there is also a daily one. There has never been 1 issue of this newsletter where I haven't been drawn to their site! Here is their Mission Statement and every word is true: "The Everyday Digital Scrapbooking Idea Blog's mission is to bring new ideas for scrapbooking with your computer via tutorials every weekday. This mission is accomplished through step-by-step instructions, visual examples of layouts, and links for related information for all ages.
This blog is a multi-designer blog devoted to digital technology for use in scrapbooking. Its purpose is to inspire creativity by sharing links and resources."
They cover everything from basics for beginners, printing at home, hybrid scrapping, digital photography, journaling, and home decor, just to name a few. I think this is a site you really don't want to miss and will learn something new every single week...I love these gals, can you tell? So if you're into PS, PSE, or PSP, you can't lose:)

OK...shutting up now and getting back to work. Have a fantastic week all!

ALL is well

OK...all rezipped and reupped and I've checked and double checked this.

Again, my apologies for this...2 times with 2 kits in a row...you'd a thunk I had an extra bowl of stupid yesterday!

Go ahead and use the link in the original post as I've fixed it!

I really thank you gals for your wonderful comments on this kit...guess it is a winner so I'll start working on the Sportsmans' Edition as an add-on to this kit. The SE will be strictly hunting and fishing. If you have any other ideas for add-ons, just give me a shout and I'll see if I can work it out. I'd like to work on a wrestling edition as all the grandboys are really into that and a cheerleading edition for AshleyB but not sure what I have to accomplish those.

I thank you all for your patience and the extra work you have to do to redownload these again. My bad!
Big hugs to you all:)

I screwed up...

again with the darned zip files. They were zipped at max compression and I forgot about that.
Give me a bit of time and I'll rezip then at normal compression and re-up them. I'm only on my first cup of coffee and not quite lucid yet...lol I stayed up til 2:30 this morning and am paying for it now:) My deepest apologies to all. Be back in a bit with the notice that everything is ok:)
Big hugs...Mollie

Man Kit

What a freakin' nightmare of a kit...sheesh! As I did this thing, I got waaaaaay off track and started going in all different directions and was having brain farts right and left! I think it was just too many options for this gal...lol.
I'm as done with this kit as I'm gonna' get and it is what it is. I l o v e the papers but the rest isn't really manly for all men...it's turned out to be about "My Man":) He he can literally do anything, whether it be wrenching on vehicles, rebuilding boat motors, welding, plumbing, house-building...you name it, my man can do it. He's also into fishing and hunting big time...he's from da' UP, heh! roflol. I do have plans to do a 'sportsman edition' of this kit in the future geared towards hunting and fishing as all the 'men' in this family are really into it and all are great at it too!

Without further ado, I have a boatload of previews to show this kit in detail and hope you find it useful. As usual, there are no drop shadows except for the previews, and papers are 2400x2400. Not all elements are shown.

All downloads can be found here. I forgot to zip the screw shown with the alpha above so I just added it to the alpha zip so it you want it, you'll have to snag the alpha.

Have fun with this kit folks...and have a wonderful weekend:)

Holy Scrap!

I did my first scrap...I'm so excited! I used my AshleyB Kit to scrap the grandtwins, one of which is AshleyB:). I've had this pic on my desk since 1995 when it was taken at my daughters' wedding. Just looking at them at this age makes me break out in a huge grin and I usually just soak it in for a few minutes. They are the cutest kids a grandma could ever have...but I'm just a little prejudiced...lol!

I know it's very basic but I did find out by actually doing a scrap that my stuff really sucks! Thanks for telling me that...sheesh! Things were either too big or too small so I gotta' figure out my perspective on stuff. My staple and stickpin are HUGE compared to other stuff in the kit...rofl. I shall do a scrap with a 'brand name' designer and see if I do any better but I'll sure keep this stuff in mind:) I really do need lessons in scrapping...I think I'll do a Google search and then a Yahoo! Groups search. There's gotta' be someone out there that can help me. But I'm still tickled pink about being able to do my first page:)

I'll be back after the Easter holiday with a new pic of how they look now at 15.Have a safe and wonderful and Happy Easter to all you awesome scrappers. I'm taking a long weekend and going off the air til Monday. See you next week and hope da' Bunny makes it to ya'!

SNOW and preview

It's snowing...big, bad, swirly, can't see the neighbors, piling up on the ground kinda' snow:( Wind gusts upwards of 50 mph:( It's April 4th and it's not supposed to snow here. The poor Easter Bunny will never make it! And I'm getting cranky just thinking about the chocolate shortage here if da' bunny don't show...roflol But there is good news...at Kristines, there is a gently spring rain falling. Some people get ALL the luck:)

Between doing my spring housecleaning (which I can stop now 'cause it's snowing:)) and designing the new man kit, I managed to do my very first chat today. It was at 3Scrapateers and very nerve wracking to say the least. Man, there were over 60 people and most of them could type faster than I could read...lol. But it sure was fun and I got a whole bunch of free spring goodies. Thank goodness there were lots of newbies like myself and I didn't feel too stooopid:). I can't even imagine a night chat where they said were way more people...I wouldn't be able to keep up but will be looking for more daytime chats there. I even touched base with a few of my fans and that was very exciting to meet them:) That's a great bunch of gals and designers over there! I'm collecting their current daily download kit for April, Spring Is Coming by Kimberly Stewart and it's gorgeous so make sure you check it out if it's new to you:)

And dear sweet Phoebe sent me a link to a scrap she made using my Springtime07 kit and I'm so thrilled to see it in use...she's just learning but I think she did a wonderful job. And her little girl is simply adorable. Go check it out here. Thank you so much Phoebe...I think you did great:)

So here's a preview of the kit I'm working on and although I am leaning towards just calling it the man kit, I'm sure open for suggestions. I only have the papers and 1 alpha done...there are 2 papers that aren't shown...I ran out of time. I went out to the big garage to get some man stuff and found all kinds of stuff that I don't know what it is but they look rusty, grungy, greasy and manly so I scanned 'em in and look forward to seeing what I can do with them...should be fun!

Have a great week everyone and thanks for all the wonderful comments you leave me here and at 4Shared...I read them all and you can call me 'tickled pink':)

Last day of Springtime 07

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please disregard all of the individual links in the posts below regarding the Springtime Kit. I've switched from 4Shared to MediaFire and all Springtime downloads are now available here.

Welcome April! It's 1 a.m. and I hear a nice spring rain out my window:) Time for bed but seeing as it's officially April, I thought I'd post the final part of my Springtime07 kit first.
Tags in all the colors of the kit with soft spring flower impressions...aren't I making them sound just so yummy...lol

The tags can be found here.

I hope you have enjoyed your week of snagging Spring! It was a pleasure for me to create and I hope you've enjoyed your visits with me. I have really loved reading your wonderful comments and am glad so many people like this kit. It's thrilling for me to see the download numbers in the 300's!

Now I'm off to work on something dark, sexy, manly, and mysterious! Aren't you just a wee bit intrigued??? LOL

Until next time, Hugs to all you wonderful scrappers:)
